As mentioned earlier, Cobra relied on artificial intelligence in the development of the LTDx. In particular, AI played a significant role in the design of the driver's face. Known as H.O.T. Face Technology, the design consists of 15 HOT zones with strategic thicknesses to increase smash factor and ball speed over a much larger area of the clubface. The result is the hottest and most forgiving driver face in Cobra history.

Stability is an equally important component in terms of a driver's performance. In the golf industry, stability is measured by MOI, which refers to the tendency of the club head to rotate around the ball at impact. The higher the MOI, the more likely the driver's face will stay aligned with the target, even on misses. To achieve the high MOI of 5000 plus, the Cobra R&D team developed a multi-material chassis consisting of a lightweight carbon crown, lightweight sole plates and a reinforced titanium speed frame.
